Are A6 Servo Drive Cables Shielded and Suitable for Cable Carriers?

The A6 series servo motors come standard with the following cables:

• Motor Cable: AS7-C-PWR075-3.0
• Encoder Cable: AS7-C-ENC076-3.0

Between these two cables, the encoder cable features an internal shield, while the motor cable is unshielded. If you require a shielded version of the motor cable, please contact us for customization. Shielded motor cables can also be customized for 5m/10m lengths:

• 5m Motor Cable
• 10m Motor Cable

The same applies to motor cables that include brake lines.

Furthermore, all A6 series cables currently sold by STEPPERONLINE are fixed installation cables and are not suitable for use in cable carrier (drag chain) applications. However, we do provide a service for customizing cables suitable for cable carriers.
