How to Limit the Motor Current on the CL57Y Stepper Driver Without a Physical Current Switch?

The CL57Y driver does not have any physical switches or knobs on the housing for current adjustment. However, you can modify the motor current parameters by connecting the driver to a PC using the configuration software.

After installing the software, follow these steps:


  1. Double-click to open the software.


  1. Select the corresponding driver model and click Confirm to enter the main interface.

In the new version of the software, there is no need to manually select the COM port. The system will automatically detect the driver. Once you enter the main interface, it means the connection has been successfully established.


  1. Click Read Parameters, and the software will display the current parameter values of the driver.



  1. Modify the motor current percentage value directly as needed.
