What is the Relationship Between the Value Displayed on the ST-C01 and the Rotational Speed?
The ST-C01 is a compact controller sold by STEPPERONLINE, known for its simple operation. The diagram below shows the definitions of various parameters for the ST-C01 from the manual.
The following explains the relationship between the values displayed on the ST-C01, specifically the values for F-03 and F-05, and the rotational speed.
- If F-09 is set to (the number of pulses required for the motor to rotate one revolution) / 10, then the value displayed on the ST-C01 is the speed (RPM).
- If F-09 is NOT set to the number of pulses per motor revolution divided by 10, then the relationship is: Speed (RPM) / ST-C01 Displayed Value = (F-09 * 10) / (Pulses per revolution set on the driver).
This leads to the following calculation formulas:
- F-01 → Motion Mode
- F-02 → Forward Distance (Forward revolutions = F-02 / Driver's set pulses per revolution)
- F-03 → Forward Speed (Forward speed (RPM) = (F-03 * F-09 * 10) / Driver's set pulses per revolution)
- F-04 → Reverse Distance (Reverse revolutions = F-04 / Driver's set pulses per revolution)
- F-05 → Reverse Speed (Reverse speed (RPM) = (F-05 * F-09 * 10) / Driver's set pulses per revolution)
- F-06 → Number of Cycles (Unit: Count)
- F-07 → Forward Delay Time (Unit: Seconds)
- F-08 → Reverse Delay Time (Unit: Seconds)
- F-09 → Set to (Pulses per motor revolution) / 10
