What Performance Differences Can Be Expected When Using 24VDC with the DSY Low-Voltage Servo?

In applications of the DSY low-voltage servo system, the officially recommended standard power supply voltage is 48VDC. When 24VDC is used instead, the system exhibits noticeable performance differences. The primary effect is that the motor speed cannot reach higher levels, while the output torque remains largely unaffected. Below is a detailed analysis based on actual test data.

Test Conditions and Observations

Test Setup: DSY low-voltage servo + 400W motor with brake

Supply Voltage: 24VDC

Key Observation: Under no-load conditions, the motor speed is close to the rated range. However, under full load, the speed drops significantly, while the output torque does not show substantial attenuation.
